Interior Comfort and Technology

The inside of the 2020 Nissan Altima is acclaimed for its sleek, cleanly-designed cabin. Available upgrades include such amenities as leather upholstery, sport seats, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. No matter what seat choice you go with, the 2020 Altima boasts some of the most comfortable in the class.

Standard technology on the 2020 Nissan Altima includes the NissanConnect infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, satellite radio, and Siri Eyes Free. These systems can be interacted with via an 8-inch touchscreen, along with large physical controls. Two USB ports come standard, while sound is pumped through a six-speaker system.

Available infotainment technology includes navigation, an HD Radio, and a nine-speaker premium Bose stereo.

Punchy Turbocharged Performance

The 2020 Nissan Altima comes outfitted with a standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine. This powerplant pumps out 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. On the SR and Platinum trims, a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is available; this machine manages to create 248 hp and 273 pound-feet of torque.

Both engines sync up to a delightfully smooth Nissan Xtronic continuously variable transmission (CVT). Unlike most CVTs, this unique marvel doesn’t even make the engine drone. Both engines work great for everyday driving, while the turbocharged option brings along a prestigious punch.
